This loop starts in Washington DC and works south through the Blue Ridge Mountains to Blowing Rock, North Carolina, then on to Gatlinburg and Knoxville, Tennessee. The route builds toward its centerpiece — US-129, the Tail of the Dragon, 318 curves in 11 miles, one of the most famous stretches of motorcycle road in the country. A support truck and your guide, Marcio Pizanelli, run the whole route with you.

Sweeping mountain roads through Blowing Rock and the surrounding ridgeline.

Smoky Mountain gateway towns rounding out the final stretch of the loop.
Arrive in DC and meet your guide and group before heading south for the mountains.
Into the Blue Ridge Mountains, overnighting at The Inn at Chetola Resort.
The main event — 318 curves in 11 miles on US-129 — before rolling into Gatlinburg at the edge of the Smokies.
Closing out the loop through Blue Ridge backroads into Knoxville.
Farewell breakfast and check-out.
